GlobalCharge launches subscription and single use billing in the booming mobile market of Turkey
In-App mobile payment specialist GlobalCharge has today announced the launch of its mobile payment services in Turkey. It’s the latest in a long line of new country launches by the London based company and enables payments through Turkey’s largest 3 mobile phone carriers.
“Turkey has been an important market for us to crack” commented Simon Coates, Founder and Director of GlobalCharge. “With over 55 million mobile phone users we believe there is a lot of untapped opportunity here with the hyper growth of mobile.”
Despite the continued popularity of feature phones in Turkey, smartphone penetration has begun to take-off and is forecast to more than double in size between 2013 and 2015. By the end of the year smartphones are expected to form over half of the mobile market for the first time in Turkey.
